REA booth artists; Paul Wee & Alex Ruiz @ Comic Con 2012

This year Red Eye Art's booth at Comic Con 2012 highlighted Paul Wee & Alex Ruiz's art. They were each selling their personal art books. Paul was sketching and selling his 4th edition sketchbook~"Sketchy Characters 1995-2012", which is quite thicker than his previous published works, but chock full of great drawings as usual. Alex was also sketching live and he was selling his book "Mind Over Machine~The Art of Alex Ruiz". http://mindovermachinebook.blogspot.com/

Nancy Kruse on "Wreck It Ralph" panel @ Comic Con 2012

Red Eye Art's creator, artist Nancy Kruse has been busy working on Disney's upcoming movie "Wreck It Ralph". She was asked to be a part of the "Wreck It Ralph" Story Panel at San Diego Comic Con 2012, along with her Director Rich Moore and various story dept. colleagues. Check it out!

The movie had a huge presence at the Con and in the city of San Diego. Everywhere you looked there was a "Wreck It Ralph" banner.

Our Red Eye Art's first book was on display this month of May 2011, at the Clermont Art Gallery in Ohio, at the "Drawing the Line; art of comics, illustration, animation" art show. According to the curator of the show Kim Taylor, the show was a success and inspiring to the young students. A print of "Tiki Devil" by Adriana M. Galvez-(SleepyTiki) which is in the book, was also on display along with the Red Eye Art group's book. The Red Eye Art Group sends a heartfelt thanks to Kim Taylor & the Clermont College Gallery for inviting us to participate in this awesome show of multi-talented artists.

Red Eye Art's art book is going to be on display at the upcoming exhibit "Drawing the Line: The art of comics, illustration, animation" at The Park National Bank Art Gallery located at Clermont College, University of Cincinnati in Batavia, Ohio. This event is curated by Kim Taylor. We are very honored to be included in this art exhibit. Opens May 4th, 2011.
